Dr. Chris Jarrett
Senior Pastor

Chris joined the Grace staff as Senior Pastor in August
of 2006. He received his BA from Hillsdale College in
Michigan, his MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School
in Deerfield, Illinois, and his DMin from Asbury Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky.

He comes to Grace after nearly fifteen years of doing what he loves and does best – preaching, teaching,
and making God's Word come alive for people. He is
passionate about outreach and seeing lives changed
as people encounter our awesome, living God.

Before coming to Grace, Chris served as youth pastor
in the Chicago area for seven years, pastored a
church in Columbus, Ohio, and most recently served
for five years as pastor of outreach for a church in
northeast Ohio.

You could best describe Chris as enthusiastic, relational,
and humorous. He loves to have fun and believes that it
is in a relationship with Christ that we really get to
experience life at its fullest. He also believes that church
should be fun, relevant, and life-changing – and he
works hard to help make it that way.

Favorites for Chris include spending time with his family
(his wife Jennifer, son Beau, and daughter Danae),
reading, watching movies, and listening to 80's music.
Chris is also an avid runner because (as he says) he
is an avid eater.

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called children of God! And that is
what we are!" (1 John 3:1)
