Lou Loutrel
Financial / Administrative Assistant

As financial/administrative assistant since January
of 1994, Lou's main responsibilities on staff involve
accounting and bookkeeping. He also serves in many areas including leadership of our lighting tech team
and as the Grace treasurer. Lou has a heart for
missions as well. Not only does he encourage
others to participate in this area of service, he has
personally been a part of five mission trips over
the past twenty-five years (St. Vincent, Haiti, Mexico,
and to Belgium twice).

Lou received his Bachelor's degree in Printing
Management from Rochester Institute of Technology
in Rochester, New York. Having grown up on the
east coast, Lou loves sailing, swimming, and being
on, in, or around water (preferably salt water). He
also enjoys riding his tandem bicycle with his wife
Kathy. Lou's family includes four adult children,
five grandchildren, and three grand dogs.

It's not surprising that one of Lou's favorite Bible
passages is found in Philippians 3:12-14. You can
see Lou – someone who faithfully presses on toward
the goal – in these verses:

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have
already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold
of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers,
I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But
one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining
toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to
win the prize for which God has called me heavenward
in Christ Jesus."
