Traci Hyde
Elementary Children's Coordinator

Traci coordinates and oversees Planet 252, our
Sunday morning environment for elementary children.
She also teaches large group and is the producer of
KidStuf, our Wednesday evening environment for
families.

Traci received a BS in Physical Education at Illinois
State University, did substitute teaching in the
Mahomet-Seymour schools for several years, and
worked in the MS-Tech program at the University of
Illinois. She joined the Grace staff in September, 2003.

If you know Traci, you know that she loves talking,
teaching, laughing, singing, and being with kids!
What you may not know, however, is that she loves
riding horses, and is an avid baseball fan (of both the
St. Louis Cardinals and of the team her husband
coaches).

Traci and her husband Rich have three children – Jack,
Will, and Grace. Traci's favorite Bible verses are found
in Deuteronomy 6:6-9. These verses not only express
the principles that guide her and Rich as parents, but
they are the foundational verses for her ministry with
children and families.

"These commandments that I give you today are to
be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you
walk along the road, when you lie down and when
you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and
bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door-
frames of your houses and on your gates."
