Every parent has a role to play!

If you have a son or daughter who attends any Grace Matrix events, we strongly encourage you to become involved in the ministry. There are avariety of ways you can help your child grow in his or her relationship with God. You may also make an eternal difference in the lives of many others as well. Please look inside to see many of the different ways you can be a part of this ministry team!

Every parent can do the following:

1. Pray for your child, other students, the staff and volunteers, and the Junior High Student Ministry as a whole.

2. Stay informed about Grace Matrix activities and encourage your child to attend and invite his or her friends
----sign up for the Junior High Parent e-mail list at www.gracemahomet.org (go to “Email Lists”)
----regularly visit the Grace Matrix web site (This one right here!!!!) for information about particular events at www.gracematrix.com

3. Seek to understand and support the vision of Grace Matrix and of Grace Church– “to touch, teach, train, take, and transform each person” is ministry team!

In addition, parents are encouraged to consider filling the following roles:

1. Teacher for Bible Education Classes on Sunday mornings

2. Room set-up and tear-down on Wednesday nights (a role much more important than it sounds)

3. Prayer team, both during events and during the week

4. Food service and clean-up on Wednesday nights

5. Transportation/Chaperone for special events

6. Mentor for student (other than your own child)

7. General logistical support
