MINISTRY STRATEGY
The High School ministry staff have developed programs and events for the purpose of
helping teens grow in their spiritual walk with Christ, build meaningful relationships, and
share their faith with others. In order to accomplish these goals, we have developed three
main areas of focus for each student:

  WORSHIP
Each senior high student is encouraged to engage in some form of corporate worship
each week in order to offer, pursue, experience, and reflect. At Grace, we offer:

Family WorshipThis is a place to experience God, to grow in your fiath, and
learn to follow Jeses through great music, practical and biblical teaching, and
meaningful relationships. Grace family worship meets in the Worship Center each
Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45 a.m.

Encounter Worship – This creative and innovative gathering will meet on the
first and third Sundays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Auditorium.
This is not a production, and not a monologue... instead, join us as we interact
with each other and seek the living God in new and fresh ways.

"I will give them a heart to
know me, that I am the Lord..."
Jeremiah 24:7

COMMUNITY/DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
Community/Discipleship groups are formed based on friendships, common interests,
and common goals. Their purpose is to share together, learn together, grow
together, and live life together. All community groups will follow the same cuuriculum.

Sundays, 10:45 a.m. – Curriculum-focused study is offered each Sunday.
The current study is entitled The Seven Checkpoints:
Seven Principles Every Teenager Needs to Know.

What if you were told the secrets to the most awesome
life ever could be yours if you just knew seven principles?
What if you were told these seven checkpoints were simple
to understand and that you could start living them within a
few short days — although they would take a lifetime to
master? You would at least wonder about them. You may
even ask to know them. In this class, they're yours. Find out
for yourself how to start building a life around these principles.

Sundays
10:45 a.m.

Senior High Leadership Training – On the second and fourth Sundays of
each month, current leaders and those interested in being a part of the Senior High
ministry are encouraged to attend this training session that meets at 6:30 p.m. in the
Grace Student Cafe' (during the school year only).

Senior High Community Groups will meet on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. in the
Student Auditorium. Groups will meet each Sunday throughout the summer for
encouragement, accountability, discipleship, and prayer.

SERVICE

Grace Children's Ministries – Senior High students will be encouraged to
serve in one of the many areas in the Children's Ministries at Grace. This includes
drama teams, music teams, small group leaders, sound and light techs, help
with special events or trips, and nursery volunteers.

Encounter Worship — Join those who plan, coordinate, and participate in
the elements of this gathering.

Mission experiences – Our missions program sends adults and high school
students on trips both in the United States and around the world. The purpose
of these trips is to serve and address real needs — both the physical and the
spiritual — in the host location. For more information on mission trips , see
Mission Trip Information.
Additional opportunities are planned throughout the year to promote spiritual
growth, build community, and just for fun! These events include student retreats
and conferences, Christian music concerts, small service projects, and much more.
