SUNDAYS, DISMISSED FROM THE 9:30AM WORSHIP GATHERINGS

VISION & MISSION

In Grace Kids, we create a safe and welcoming environment where children learn the story of the Bible and see its truth supported by history. Our goal is to cultivate minds and hearts ready to receive the seed of the Gospel, leading them toward salvation. We aim to help children come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and joyfully become part of a community that loves God, loves people, reaches the lost, and makes disciples of Jesus Christ.

GRACE KIDS MINISTRY

GRACE KIDS MINISTRY

This ministry is centered on helping children understand what the Bible says by planting foundational truths in their minds—creating mental "hooks" that can be built upon as they continue to study God’s Word. Each week begins with a review of previous lessons and introduces a new biblical event or teaching. Learning is brought to life through the use of artifacts, replicas, and other hands-on items that visually and physically reinforce the Scriptures.

Children receive lesson booklets to take home, and they are encouraged and rewarded for remembering and understanding what they've been taught.

Children are dismissed from the main worship gathering partway through the service. Afterward, parents or guardians pick them up from the GraceKids room, located to the east of the gym.

  • Return of Christ

Over the course of six years, children go through the full curriculum twice. Each week begins with a review led by the older children, helping them grow in confidence and leadership while reinforcing key concepts for the younger ones.

Throughout the year, six themed challenges encourage children to study and retain what they've been taught. In addition to reading Scripture, we explore Old Testament geography, 1st-century geography of Israel and Jerusalem, and the Roman Empire during Paul’s missionary journeys.

Our aim is to build a strong framework that connects Scripture with geography and history, helping children see the broader picture of God’s plan as revealed in the Bible. This foundation naturally leads to deeper questions as they grow—questions that guide them toward knowing God and understanding the salvation offered through Jesus Christ.
